CHOW-CHOW

Height: 45 cm;
Weight: 20-22 pounds;
Eyes: Dark, almond-shaped;
Ears: Small, erect;
Tail: Bent over back;
Coat: Dense and rough Hair, red, black, metallic blue, fawn, cream, white;



History:



        In a Chinese bas-relief of 2000 years ago, the Chow-Chow appears as it is today. In China, it was used to store boats and pull carts.
     Were called Chow-Chow and soon had much success as companion dogs, guardians, sled pullers, wolves hunters. But, because, for a long time, have been served as human food, and thus did not have the efetuosa guidance of a master, he has a little sad behavior and seems undemonstrative, though, in its way, knowing how to love and demonstrate loyalty and vivacity
          It is resistant to disease, supports very well the cold and is by nature, clean. In the summer, although suffering much from the heat of which southern regions, it is not advisable to shear his hair.
